The school opened in 1975 and has approximately 1900 students with 160 teaching and support staff combined.

As a college we offer specialist Mathematics, Numeracy, Calculus and Statistics courses.
This includes timetabled class focused on students achieving NZQA Scholarship in both Calculus and Statistics.

Terms and Salary
The terms and conditions, including base salary and hours of work, for this position are set by the Secondary Teachers\' Collective Agreement.
The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,329 to $103,086, depending on applicant's qualifications and experience.
An individual's actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
Additional Information
New graduate teachers may be eligible for a pre-tax payment of $10,500 through the Voluntary Bonding Scheme, subject to conditions.
