About the Role
As a Family Therapist within the Eating Disorders Service, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering specialist, evidence‑based therapies to tamariki, rangatahi, and their whānau. You’ll provide interventions such as FBT, CBT‑e, MANTRA, and DBT, supporting recovery through inclusive, culturally responsive care. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex cases, contribute to service development, and act as a resource for the wider Child, Adolescent & Family Services (CAFS) team.
Based in Hastings and covering the wider Hawkes Bay region, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people and their families.

Ngā Harakeke Mai Rongokako – Child, Adolescent & Family Services (CAFS) is a dedicated team supporting mental health and wellbeing for young people across Hawkes Bay. The Eating Disorders Service works collaboratively with paediatric and community services to provide holistic, family‑centred care.
