As Lead Security Engineering Advisor, you will lead engagement with the National Ticket Solution (NTS) programme to ensure security controls implementations are aligned with the identified risk for this high impact, high complexity programme.

• Lead security engineering advisory engagement with the National Ticket Solution programme
• Lead implementation and operation of security controls and management strategies
• Fixed term position to 30 June 2026
• Can be based in Wellington, Auckland, or Palmerston North

You will lead the engineering advisory on the implementation and operation of security controls and management strategies to maintain the security, confidentiality, integrity, availability, accountability and relevant compliance of information systems with legislation, regulation and relevant standards in the context of NTS related NZTA systems.

Appointment base salary is expected to be from $156,458 to $173,842 commensurate to knowledge and experience.

Ideally You Will Have

Qualifications

You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation.
