About the Role
We are looking for physicians to provide medical services within Northland; these are a combination of new and replacement roles, and any subspecialty interest would be considered, in particular respiratory, infectious disease, rheumatology and neurology.
Existing specialties include :
The role will be divided into an off-ward role where elective work is undertaken and on wards managing inpatients.
The on-call roster means working some weekends per year with a rostered day off after weekend work.

Teaching and mentoring our 28 medical registrars is an important part of our work.

About you
To be considered you must have or be eligible for specialist (or locum tenens) registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) in an Internal Medicine Vocational scope of practice.
If you are currently overseas / not yet registered, we can assist you with the application process to obtain MCNZ registration.
