Sacred Heart College is a State Integrated Catholic Secondary School for Years 9-13, located in the beautiful Hawke's Bay.

We are seeking a faith-filled innovative and dynamic Religious Education Teacher with a passion for teaching To Tatou Whakapono – Our Faith.

The successful candidate will be future-focused and able to work in a collaborative team environment.

This is a full-time fixed position from 28 January

• to 27 January

The reason for this being fixed-term is because it is covering the recruitment process for a DRS.

As this is a Special Character position, a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the Special Character of the school is a condition of appointment.

A teacher in a Special Character position represents the Catholic community and is expected to be actively involved in building the Catholic Character of the school.

This will include supporting Catholic Character activities, helping in the preparation of liturgies or similar activities, assisting with staff development in the area of Catholic Character, and being part of the school's Catholic Character Committee.

Your application must be accompanied by a CI 47 Form (attached) to indicate relevant qualifications and experience related to Catholic Special Character.

The form must include three character referees.
