Delegates tasks to execute and fully complete assigned projects.

Coordinates communication with customer during all phases of the project.

Coordinates the work of subcontractors.ResponsibilitiesMeeting with clients and establishing their requirementsProducing, reviewing and implementing appropriate documentation including : pre-construction information, schedules of work, specifications, schematics and drawings for tender for each projectManage a portfolio of approved Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) contractors through the lifecycle of a projectProject cost procurement, analysis, appraisal and budgetingCommunicating with clients and colleagues, engaging with specialist consultants as requiredEnsuring that programmes are agreed between the client and the contractor prior to each project commencing, updated as required and that key deadlines are metEnsure M&E services are installed correctly and to the correct specificationMonitoring working practices, managing contractors and reporting lack of compliance to your line managerEnsuring compliance with Health, Safety and Fire, ACOP's and company policiesEnsuring receipt of relevant certification, correspondence, documents, drawings, and financial recordsProvide technical support where required to other internal departmentsProject analysis and clear progress reporting to management as requiredRead and understand the limits to the required scope of work (when is a change order is required)Understand how to find the notice requirements for constructive changes, delays or project accelerationDetermine the pricing for the job (ie fixed price, T & M, GMP, etc.).

Know and understand the closeout requirementsKnow and understand the term of the contract or period for performance.Know and understand how the "Contract Amendment / Change Order Process" is addressed in the contractConduct the pre-job meetingInvite all project team members to the pre-job meeting.

(Include Operations Manager, Operations Reporting Controls and SafetyPrepare the pre-job meeting agendaReview minutes and distribute to attendeesRequirementsMinimum B.Sc / B.Eng Electrical / Power / Mechanical with minimum 5 years' extensive experience / knowledge of construction, design and cost management as an Electrical / Mechanical Project Manager or similar position in Commercial, Institutional and Industrial EnvironmentProficient in AUTOCAD, REVIT, Microsoft software (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio and Power Point), and estimation software (Accubid & MEP)Experience managing large commercial, institutional and Industrial Projects N10 million and above preferredEstimating experience and knowledge of site surveying, project sequencing, methods and materials practices and electrical systemsWhat we offerPaid vacation / holidays / sick timeOn the job / cross training opportunitiesEncouraging and collaborative team environmentDedication to safety through our Zero Harm policyWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
