The Role | Mo tenei turanga mahi
As a Support Worker, you'll walk alongside tangata whaiora (people seeking wellbeing) in both residential and mobile community settings, supporting them to live the life they want.
We currently have several vacancies available across our Enhanced Mobile, Respite, and Housing and Recovery Services in Kirikiriroa Hamilton.
Shifts are available across mornings, afternoons, and awake nights.
We also welcome applications from those interested in casual opportunities.

In the role, you will :
Support tangata whaiora to rest, restore and maintain wellbeing in safe environments
Walk alongside people to set and achieve their personal goals
Provide practical support with daily living (cooking, shopping, budgeting, healthy routines)
Encourage participation in community, work, study, and social activities
Support therapeutic interventions and wellbeing practices as needed
Maintain accurate records and collaborate with whanau, health and social services
Uphold Pathways' values by working in a trauma-informed, culturally safe way
You | Mou
Preferred applicants who hold the level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent.
Alternatively, you will be willing to commence study towards this within six months of starting your employment and completed within 2 years of commencement
You must hold a current full New Zealand driver's licence.
You must hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.
Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the articles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
You must have the right to work in New Zealand
