Mental Health Services for Older Adults (MHSOA) provides a comprehensive service to people aged 65+ who are living with mental health difficulties and / or cognitive decline, often with complex needs. MHSOA's Kingsley Mortimer Unit (Ward 12) is a 19 bedded inpatient unit on the North Shore Hospital site that provides inpatient assessment and treatment for the two older adult community assessment and rehabilitation teams.
About You
We currently have a vacancy for a Clinical Psychologist in the Kingsley Mortimer Unit team. The team provides intensive, recovery focused treatment and support for people with complex mental health needs and works across the culturally diverse population of Aucklands Waitemata region.
We are looking for a motivated Clinical Psychologist with the skills to engage in :
Under the APEX collective contract psychologists receive up to $4500 each per year for Continuing Professional Development which can be accumulated over two years to $9000. This offers the chance to attend overseas conferences or multiple workshops, plus books, and subscriptions each year.
This is a permanent position based at North Shore Hospital, and a current APC is required.
