Help keep our production running at peak efficiency by applying best practice in electrical maintenance and ensuring compliance with NZ regulations and standards.
This is a full-time permanent role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, reporting to the Engineering Supervisor at our Waitara site.
What you will do :
Maintain and install single and three-phase systems to NZ standards.
Complete daily plant start-up checks and respond to breakdowns.
Fault find and repair electrical control systems (plus minor mechanical work).
Assess, cost, and install new equipment.
Monitor processing systems and ensure equipment safety and compliance.
Coordinate contractors and liaise with maintenance, production, and suppliers.
Support health & safety and food safety standards, and complete daily documentation.
What you will bring :
NZ Level 4 registered electrician + current practicing license.
5+ years' experience in electrical systems and electronics.
Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical & process control.
Ability to coordinate external support and ensure compliance.
