Location : Mangateretere School, Hawke's Bay. A rural school on the outskirts of Hastings with a roll of 32.

Responsibilities :

• Have high standards and expectations in all areas of kura life
• Be an outstanding, positive communicator with students, staff, and whānau
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and have excellent personal dispositions
• Build strong relationships within the kura, and wider community / hapori
• Have an in-depth knowledge of the NZC and current literacy, numeracy and other MoE initiatives
• Help develop and deliver localised learning contexts that reflect our local community / hapori and meet our students’ diverse needs and interests
• Have the capability and drive to gather, analyse and use data to lead improved teacher practice and improved progress and achievement of all tamariki
• Honour the principles and give practical effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
