Rocket Lab is an end-to-end space company delivering responsive launch services, complete spacecraft design and manufacturing, payloads, satellite components, and more – all with the goal of opening access to space.

Our Electron rocket has become the second most frequently launched U.S. rocket annually and has delivered more than 230 satellites to orbit, while we work to develop Neutron, our upcoming medium-lift, reusable launch vehicle for larger constellation deployment. Our Space Systems business designs and builds our extensive line of satellites, payloads, and their components, including spacecraft that have been selected to support NASA missions to the Moon and Mars and components used on the James Webb Space Telescope.

PRECISION CLEANING TECHNICIAN

The Cleanroom Technician is a member of the Mechanical Production Team but is specifically focused on the precision cleaning of Reaction Wheels for our Space Systems Team.

Must be comfortable working the overnight shift (21 : 00 - 07 : 30). Night shift allowance in effect.

YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Comfortable working to exacting standards
  • Have a good level of eyesight and an eye for detail
  • THESE SKILLS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as autonomously
  • Knowledge of ultrasonic cleaners, precision cleaning, oxygen cleaning and clean room methodologies
  • A high work ethic, always seeking more responsibility. Able to work overtime if required
  • Takes initiative and remains calm under pressure
  • Computer literate, and comfortable using smartphones and tablets
