Senior Full Stack Developer

About the RoleOur client, a leader in the financial services sector, is looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join their Agile team.

In this dynamic and hands-on role, you'll work closely with business teams to analyse processes, design solutions, and develop applications that meet both technical and business requirements.

You will have the opportunity to lead system / application design and play an integral part in process redesign to enhance system productivity and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Agile team to analyse business processes, procedures, and user requirements to establish system requirements.Lead system / application design, ensuring production of system and program documentation along with ongoing maintenance.Develop solutions and specifications for converting agreed requirements into functional systems.Undertake testing activities to ensure that software solutions meet agreed specifications and quality standards.Create development and support documentation to facilitate smooth operations and provide ongoing support for applications.What You'll BringProven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with hands-on expertise delivering enterprise applications.Strong experience designing and developing MS SQL Server and Postgres databases.Hands-on experience with building and deploying code through a CI / CD pipeline.Proficient in managing and configuring AWS environments.Proven ability to design and develop Restful APIs using Java Spring Boot.Experience using automated test frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress.Familiarity with Agile / Scrum / Kanban methodologies.Experience in banking or financial services.QualificationsTertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business Management, or a related discipline.What's on OfferOpportunity to work within a collaborative and innovative environment.Competitive hourly rate on a 1-year contract.Chance to be part of a leading financial institution, contributing to impactful projects and systems.If you're a motivated and skilled Full Stack Developer looking to make a difference in the financial services industry, we would love to hear from you!
