About the role

The Head of Laboratory and Testing Services is a strategic leadership role responsible for unifying all YOBD internal and external Laboratory and Testing functions, including analytical services, under a single strategic owner.

This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, accurate, and timely results while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

It includes ownership of the laboratory strategy and LIMs (Laboratory Information Management System).

Skills and Experience

Bachelor's or master's degree in laboratory science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field

Proven experience in laboratory operations, with several years in a leadership role.

Proven experience in managing teams and laboratory budgets.

Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality systems.

Contract / or management of multiple external labs supplying testing services

Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).

Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.

Ability to lead change and drive innovation.
