Senior School Teacher Aide (ELL)

We are looking for a dedicated Senior School Teacher Aide to support bilingual students across the curriculum.

This fixed-term role is 20 hours per week, School Term Only, starting in Term 1,

Working hours 8 : 30 am-3 : 30 pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to negotiate final hours and days.

Responsibilities

Support and guide students with learning differences in literacy and other subjects.

Interpret assessment materials and teaching resources to enhance academic outcomes.

Collaborate with teachers and staff to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.

Manage classroom tasks efficiently, demonstrating strong organisational and time-management skills.

Exercise professional judgement, diplomacy, and confidentiality in all interactions.

Qualifications & Experience

Good knowledge of literacy and teaching approaches.

Experience as a Teacher Aide or related support role (present or past).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team with a flexible approach.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Professional judgement, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
