Our Kura

At our kura, relationships come first.

We're looking for kaiako who genuinely care about tamariki – people who are patient, kind, and committed to building trust and belonging in the classroom, and who are passionate about our mokopuna and addressing inequity within our education system.

Our kura is guided by our three kete : Maramatanga, Manaakitanga, and Whanaungatanga.

These values shape all that we do and reflect our commitment to caring for one another, learning with clarity, and nurturing strong connections.

We are proudly indigenising our curriculum to reflect the language, culture, and identity of our tamariki and their whanau.

You will bring a willingness to learn te reo Maori, and value the kete of knowledge each learner carries.

Knowledge of a second language is an advantage – particularly te reo Maori or the languages of the peoples of the Pacific (such as Samoan or Cook Islands Maori) – as we continue to grow our bilingual education pathways.

Experience with BSLA and DMIC approaches is also an advantage.
