About the Role

Paragon Recruitment are seeking a talented and detail-driven Design Engineer to join a respected New Zealand energy and infrastructure services provider.

In this key technical position, you’ll be responsible for designing and delivering safe, reliable, and cost-effective electricity distribution and network solutions. Your work will span from subdivision reticulation and customer connections to major infrastructure upgrades and renewable integration projects.

You’ll collaborate with project managers, field services, and clients to ensure all designs meet regulatory standards, technical requirements, and customer expectations — while supporting New Zealand’s transition to a smarter, more resilient energy network.
