About the Role
As a Customer-Facing Superstar at our vibrant InterCity Travel Centre in Auckland CBD, you'll be at the heart of our mission to connect people, places, and experiences across New Zealand.
You'll assist customers in booking memorable journeys, handle enquiries from the public and travel agents, manage complaints, and ensure smooth operations during travel disruptions.
You'll also get hands-on experience with our products, so you know exactly what you're recommending!
Key Responsibilities
Helping customers over the phone and in person with their travel bookings.
Assisting passengers boarding InterCity buses and providing support during delays or disruptions.
Investigating and resolving complaints, including lost property enquiries.
Communicating important service information to the team and customers in a timely manner.
What We're Looking For
A passion for customer service and helping people plan amazing journeys.
A clear, friendly communication style, both spoken and written.
Quick and accurate data entry skills with great attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm and confident in emergency situations.
Flexibility to work on a rostered AM or / and PM shift, including one weekend per roster.
Experience in travel, tourism, or contact centre is a bonus, but not essential!
Full training will be provided, and you will have the opportunity to personally experience the products and services you will be booking for our customers.
