Key Responsibilities & Skills

Well presented and personable; represent The Kiwi Butcher Shop front of the retail store on a daily basis.

Excellent time-management skills; work efficiently to produce daily value-added products and restock the shop.

Ability to interact well with customers; greet, communicate and assist all customers upon arrival.

Flexibility; may be required to work extra hours during busier periods such as Christmas and promotions.

Clean bill of health; physically capable of lifting boxes and trays of meat and standing for extended periods.

Strong communication skills; collaborate effectively with a diverse team during periods of constant change.

Adaptability; work independently when necessary while remaining a team player.

Eye for detail; maintain a clean, tidy and aesthetically pleasing shop environment for customers.

Great work ethic; demonstrate reliability, integrity and a willingness to learn and meet daily expectations in line with company values.

Schedule

This is a permanent full-time position (approx. 42.5 hours per week).

Core hours are Monday to Friday 9 am-6 pm, with one Saturday per month 8 am-4 pm.

Qualifications

Previous retail experience is a bonus but not required.

A willingness to learn, a positive, upbeat can-do attitude, and a cover letter detailing the value you can bring to The Kiwi Butcher Shop are essential.
