As our Safety, Health & Wellbeing Manager within Primary Connect, you'll be a key driver of both innovation and continuous improvement across Primary Connect, leading and inspiring change through expert guidance and strong relationships with senior leaders. You'll take a practical and pragmatic approach to safety, using data and root cause analysis to implement solutions that make a real difference, particularly for our critical risks. You’ll also have an eye for detail, to ensure our critical controls are deployed in such a way - that make a positive difference to our team. A core part of your role will be to support the team with complex incident investigations and to mentor our site-based SHW Specialists (who are a pretty awesome bunch). You'll also leverage your strong knowledge of the Health & Safety at Work Act (2015) to ensure our systems are both contemporary and compliant.

Based in Favona, this hybrid role will see you support Distribution Centre’s across New Zealand, with travel to our regional DC’s as required. Drive the continuous improvement in critical risk management, effective control deployment and overall reduction of injuries and their severity, not to mention we like to have fun with safety - so you’ll help lead and deliver key safety initiatives that boost team engagement.
