About the Role

This is a rare entry level opportunity to join our Quality Bakers site in Wellington as our Quality Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator. This role will be based on-site and takes responsibility for maintaining and improving the Safety, Health and Environment Systems and the Food Safety & Quality systems for the site.

To achieve this, your responsibilities will include :

• Annual Health & Safety and Quality plans established for the site, identifying goals / targets and improvement opportunities
• Complete internal and external audits including root cause, corrective and preventative actions (insurance, STGFW checklists, ACC partnerships, environmental, food safety & quality)
• Drive a culture of compliance to commitment for Health & Safety & Food Safety for the site by engaging with the team to enable this change

About You

To make this role a success, we are looking for an organised and driven individual who, ideally, has previous experience in a food manufacturing environment.
