Lead Developer

Exciting opportunity to build a brand-new News platform from scratch.

We're looking for talented Lead and Senior Developers to join a fast-paced, purpose-driven project on a 6-month contract.

This is a greenfield build using modern technologies and a headless CMS, offering the chance to shape the technical direction from day one.

You'll be part of a small, agile team building a new digital News platform using Payload CMS, hosted on Vercel.

The platform will be built from the ground up, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and editorial usability.

The Role / s : Lead Developer

Lead the technical delivery and architecture of the platform

Mentor and guide developers, ensuring best practices

Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical decisions with business goals

Senior Developer

Contribute across the full stack with a focus on clean, scalable code

Work closely with the Lead Developer and product team

Help integrate Payload CMS and deploy to Vercel

Ideal Person :

Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React, and MongoDB

Experience with headless CMS platforms (Payload CMS ideal)

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote-friendly environment

Previous experience in media, publishing, or news platforms is a plus
