This is a passionate and experienced team working on local and international market leading FMCG and Grocery brands.
The business is passionate about growing well regarded brands across the supermarket, grocery and retail channels.
The primary purpose of this role is to manage, develop and grow a portfolio of confectionery, snack and grocery products through the key account channels.
The role will see you develop and execute account specific sales strategies to achieve overall sales and profitability for the business.
You will have access to a wonderful team, supportive leadership with great data and tools to achieve this.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a seasoned key Account Manager who has operated in the FMCG space and successfully grown relationships within the grocery channel.
Role Objectives :
Build, develop and maintain robust relationships with all key members withing the portfolio of grocery and retail
Work with stakeholders to create creative sales strategies and confirm and drive the annual plan
Work closely with National Sales operations and the wider team on promotional activities, the field sales team and on quarterly targets for all the channels
Implement sales strategies to generate growth including competitor activity, promotional activity, price positioning, range opportunities and distribution.
Monitoring business performance and work with sales and forecasting analyst to accurately forecast stick for promotional activity, seasonal requirements and NPD.
Key Account Management activity including account specific promotional and seasonal activity; category and business revies; engaging with all stakeholders to build relationships, using key tools for updating information and management; developing category strategies; working with the filed sales team across all updates etc.

You will have a proven track record building, growing & maintaining high level relationships with key contacts in the grocery and retail channels
Strong ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, with a hands-on approach
Strong ability to negotiate, pitch and present
Analytical, commercially savvy and highly organised
