Conductive Education Canterbury, a not-for-profit centre-based early intervention provider, is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic early intervention teacher to join our dynamic team.

We support children from birth to school age with developmental delays or disabilities across a range of early childhood settings.

This is your chance to make a meaningful impact in a role that values collaboration, creativity, and holistic education.

What we're looking for

A fully registered teacher with a Bachelor of Education / Teaching

Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching (Early Intervention) or similar endorsement, or the ability to attain this within two years.

At least two years' experience working with children with developmental delays (preferred)

Experience in early intervention is highly desirable

Strong understanding of family partnership and support

Work in a supportive, passionate team that values innovation and inclusion

Make a difference in the lives of tamariki and their whanau every day

The applicant will be a team player, show initiative, be flexible, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work effectively with children and their families and other professionals across a diverse range of settings.

The ability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and have a knowledge of child development, learning and behaviour.

Applicants must hold NZ residency or a current NZ work permit.
