We offer continuous training and value staff input, constantly seeking to improve working conditions and industry knowledge.We have a great opportunity for a Timber Machinist to join the team.What the role involves : Setting, operating, and maintaining planers for basic timber dressing and various timber profiles.Reading and following specifications to ensure timber is cut and dressed to the correct size, finish, and quality.Conducting regular quality checks on finished product.Performing basic maintenance and adjustments on machinery.Working safely, following all health & safety procedures, and using PPE.What we're looking for : Previous timber machining experienceAttention to detail and pride in producing quality work.Reliability, a strong work ethic, and a good safety mindset.Ability to work as part of a team in a busy production environment.Physical fitness, as the role involves standing, lifting, and handling timber.What we offer : Competitive pay based on skills and experience.Ongoing training and support – with opportunities to complete a recognised NZ Timber Machining qualification.Job security in a long-established, family-owned business.A positive, team-oriented workplace where your contribution is valued.Assistance with local housing options, making it easier to settle into the community.If you would like further information or wish to apply for this position please email
