In this senior role, you will take the lead on compliance, monitoring, and enforcement, ensuring that legislation, bylaws, and Council policies are adhered to, and you'll lead and deliver compliance work that promotes sustainable practices across our community through education, monitoring, and effective enforcement to create lasting impact.

The Senior Compliance Officer works closely with internal teams and external agencies, balancing reactive compliance responses with proactive monitoring and investigations to ensure high-quality, consistent results.

You'll bring a strong understanding of compliance, monitoring, and enforcement in a local government setting, along with highly developed interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and build relationships.
