OneSchool Global Timaru is excited to be recruiting for a new part-time Student Support Assistant (SSA) to join our innovative and supportive school community.

About The Role

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to support our Secondary students, fostering their learning and personal growth.

Hours

30 hours per week

8 : 30 am – 3 : 00 pm

(We are open to flexibility!

For the right candidate, hours could be adjusted to for school drop off

What You'll Be Doing

Assisting primary students with their learning and classroom activities.

Providing tailored support to help students achieve their educational goals.

Contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment.

Collaborating with teachers to ensure students thrive academically and socially.

What We're Looking For

A friendly, patient, and approachable individual who loves working with children.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A flexible and proactive approach to supporting students and staff.

Experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
