$60.00 / hr - $80.00 / hr

Overview

  • Position : Biological Research Evaluator – Contract, Remote
  • Commitment : 10–20 hours weekly, potential to scale to 40 hours
  • Duration : Initial commitment of 1–2 months, with opportunities for extension
  • Mission : Test AI models\' ability to understand and mitigate failures in biological research protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the capabilities of AI models in the field of biology.
  • Test models\' understanding of potential failures in biological research protocols.
  • Identify ways to mitigate issues in biological research methodologies.
  • Collaborate with AI labs to develop a state-of-the-art benchmark for model evaluation.
  • Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines and contribute to AI model performance improvement.

    • Requirements / Qualifications

  • Must-Have Qualifications
  • Current Ph.D. student or higher degree (e.g., Postdoctoral Fellow, Research Scientist) in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Bioengineering, Immunology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of wet lab experience.
  • Extensive familiarity with research methods / protocols.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and rigorous problem-solving skills.
  • Excel in both written and verbal communication.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in AI model evaluation in biological contexts.
  • Familiarity with AI-generated content in scientific research.

  • Compensation : Paid weekly via Stripe Connect
  • Schedule : Flexible workload, fully remote, and asynchronous
  • Location : Must be based in the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand
