  • STAR) invites applications for a Scientist position in the area of environment, sleep and social emotional learning.

We are also close partners of Singaporean ministries as well as with international collaborators.The successful candidate will play a key role in research that targets the environmental determinants of sleep and social emotional learning in adolescents.

As a scientist within the program, you will participate in research meetings, training activities, data collection and analysis and manuscript preparation.ResponsibilitiesConduct original analyses using multidimensional datasets in collaboration with A

  • STAR researchers and external collaborators from other institutions of higher learning.Attend regular meetings / discussions with a group of post-doctorate researchers and PIs to foster collaborations and produce impactful research.Assist in the preparation of grant applications and grant progress reports.Partner with data scientists from other A
  • STAR institutes to interpret and write up findings on network analyses and structural equation models.Scientific writing of abstracts and peer-reviewed manuscripts.To provide supervision and training to junior staff in research methods.RequirementsPhD in Psychology, Biomedical Sciences or other relevant fields.Knowledge of statistical software — R, SPSS, Mplus etcHas a strong team focus, with the ability to work independentlyExcellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skillsExcellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and conscientiousnessExperience in advanced computational / modelling methods (e.g. network analyses, SEM) will be advantageous.
