Overview

Freelance Animator – Autism Collaboration, IT Sector. This part-time remote contract role focuses on creating engaging and accessible animations that illustrate collaboration scenarios for young people with autism working in IT companies. The project aims to deliver clear, flexible, and effective visual content that supports understanding and integration for neurodiverse youth in professional environments. The animator will translate real-world workplace interactions into visual narratives, ensuring the content is informative and sensitive to the needs of the target audience. The delivery deadline is February.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a series of animated scenarios depicting workplace collaboration in IT settings, tailored for young people with autism.
  • Work closely with the project lead to understand specific collaboration challenges and translate them into visual stories.
  • Ensure all animations are clear, accessible, and align with the project’s educational objectives.
  • Deliver high-quality, polished animations within the agreed timeline.
  • Provide revisions based on feedback to ensure the final content meets project goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in animation, with a strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to visualize complex scenarios.
  • Understanding of neurodiversity, particularly autism, and sensitivity to representing these experiences authentically.
  • Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom, or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work on schedule.
  • Availability for part-time contract work through February.
