Senior Structural Engineer

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Structural Engineer with expertise in liquid retaining structures to lead our work in the Industrial and Water markets.

You will join a well-established and diverse team of structural engineers, working on a wide range of projects across the local region, New Zealand, the Pacific, and Australasia.

Every day will provide you with new challenges and look a little different.

Overall, this role will see you :

• Demonstrate your ability and passion for providing technical advice and project leadership while embracing a culture that values teamwork
• Lead project delivery together with client relationship skills and proposal preparation
• Build strong customer relationships by understanding our client's core business and ensuring that services meet their expectations
• Help grow the talent and careers of our structural engineers as well as champion innovation

• You are a chartered structural engineer with a strong track record of delivering industrial or water projects, including experience with liquid retaining structures.

These may include :

• Water reservoirs and tanks
• Water and wastewater treatment plantsSpecific experience in the following would also be beneficial :
• Design of concrete structures for the storage of liquids, in particular following NZS
• Assessment and design of steel tanks following NZSEE Seismic Design of Storage Tanks
• Experience with the control of cracking in concrete structures advantageous (CIRIA C766)You love to learn and share knowledge and can bring a fresh perspective to ensure the development of the people around you.
