As an Advisor, Office of the Hautu, you will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality, strategic advice and timely information to the Hautu.
This role calls for a strategic thinker with the ability to assess a wide range of information and insight to support the Office and decision-making.
You'll play a key part in ensuring both the Office and the Hautu are well-equipped to support and deliver on the priorities of Te Pou Rangatopu.

The Advisor works as part of the Office of the Hautu to provide high-quality advice and information to the Hautu to ensure the Office and Hautu can meet and support the priorities of Te Pou Rangatopu as the Corporate group of the Ministry.

Our group has two key roles which operate together – keeping the Ministry safe by delivering essential Ministry-wide statutory and corporate functions, and delivering improvements to how the Ministry works, so that we can achieve our priorities and support the ministry to deliver the Governemnt's priorities.
The Office of the Hautu (the Office) is responsible for providing group-wide services and support.
It provides executive and strategic advice and support to the Hautu, Te Pou Rangatopu and the group's senior leadership team, and acts as a key interface between Te Pou Rangatopu and the wider organisation.
The Office plays a critical role in identifying and advising the Hautu and senior leaders on group performance, key risks and issues, and strategic matters affecting the group and organisation.
It also provides high quality advice and support to ensure the Hautu can operate effectively and efficiently and is well supported.
