About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Social Media Content Production Specialist to join our Brand Content & Social (BCS) team. This is a pivotal, hands-on and creative role focused on strengthening our in-house production capabilities and bringing "That Fresh Food Feeling" to life across our social media channels.
You are a digital native, a natural storyteller, and a creative powerhouse. You’re not just passionate about social media; you live and breathe it. You have a keen eye for what works on each platform, a natural creative flair, and the technical skills to take an idea from a storyboard sketch to a fully edited, highly engaging video.
What you'll do | Hei mahi
- End-to-End Content Production : Confidently own the production process for social-first content, including creative storyboarding, filming (primarily on mobile), and editing.
- Platform-Native Creation : Develop and execute content that is perfectly "adapted to platform". You will understand different platforms and can recommend content based on best practices.
- Strategic Campaign Execution : Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and wider BCS team to bring our key brand campaigns to life through storytelling on social media. This includes developing content that supports all strategic marketing pillars - from brand campaigns, trade marketing to care and community, you will have exposure to everything!
- Trend-Led Content : Actively participate in our "Trend Huddle" and demonstrate agility by quickly turning around reactive content that taps into current trends and conversations that entertain (in our distinctive style)
- Proactive mindset : Always looking for ways to evolve & improve our content, pitch ideas for new content series,
- Creative Collaboration : Work closely with the marketing lead, creators / advocates, and internal stakeholders to ensure all content is high-quality and on-brand, to drive customer advocacy.
- Experience with Emplifi is a bonus
- Occasional travel and flexibility to work weekends might be required
What you’ll bring | Hei koha
- A Proven Social Creator : You have demonstrable experience in creating, filming, and editing engaging content specifically for social media platforms (especially TikTok and Instagram Reels). A strong portfolio is essential.
- Technically Skilled : Expert-level proficiency with mobile filming and in-app / desktop editing tools : Adobe Creative Suite, Canva
- Genuinely Passionate : You are obsessed with social media, understand platform nuances, and are always on top of the latest trends, features, and content styles.
- Data driven mindset : You use data to stay close to content performance (i.e. while you won't be responsible for creating reports, we expect you to understand them and apply learnings). Experience with Emplifi is a bonus
- A "Bold & Brave" Creator : You embody our team principles —you are "Bold & Brave" , "Driven Creative" , and not afraid to suggest ideas that push us creatively.
