About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse join our fabulous team at Merivale Village in Christchurch.

This role is a permanent, part-time, Night Shift position, working 22.5 hours week as follows :

Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday

• = 22.5hrs week + a paid 30-minute break.

There may also be the opportunity to pick up additional shifts if desired.

Some of the great things you will be doing

Clinical assessment, planning and implementation of nursing care.

Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills

Work collaboratively with other team members

Develop and review care plans in consultation with our residents and their families.

Provide compassionate and high-level care.

About you

You pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service to our residents and have empathy for the older person.

You also have :

Current Practicing Certificate and first aid certificate

Strong nursing experience, aged care - even better!

Up to date knowledge of wound care management

Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills.

You are also a team player with a caring, respectful manner which is important in our aged care environment.
