What You Will Be Doing

Managingthe culinary operations reporting directly to the Head Chef / General Manager of the Resort, including supervising the culinary brigade and overseeing services.

Beresponsiblefor providing high quality dishes, fromconcept creation,preparation, cooking, right through topresentation, at thehighest standard.

Prepare and present menuitems showingvarietyandflair, delivering anexcitingandprofitableproduct.

Order, maintain and manage stockand par levels whilereducing wastage.

Assist inroster preparationand managing manning levels in line with budget requirements.

Maintain strictfood hygiene and safetyensuring all workstations are tidy and equipment is maintained, serviced, and cleaned in line with protocols and procedures.

Your Experience And Skills Include

NZQF Diploma or at least three years or more of relevant work experience.

Strong leadership skillswith the ability to provideguidanceanddirectionto a kitchen brigade.

Customer drivenfocus & apassionfor food.

Trade qualificationsand previous experience in a similar role having done a la carte service.

Working knowledge ofworkplace health & safetyprocedures & foodsafety standards.

Ability to work flexibly over a variety of shifts includingweekends, mornings & evenings.
