About Our Kitchen

Our menus are created with sustainable, whole-cycle cooking, fermenting, pickling, smoking, drying and preparing everything in-house.

Role Overview

The Sous Chef will work alongside the Head Chef and Eatery Manager, running the Westmoreland Street kitchen day-to-day.

You will lead the team in a fair and professional manner, nurturing established relationships within the team and the community.

About You – Qualifications

Management / team leadership experience

Minimum 5 years kitchen experience

Positive and personable demeanor

Passion for working sustainably

Good personal presentation and hygiene

Ability to handle pressure and solve problems

Ability to lead a team with authenticity

Ability to maintain a clean section

Appreciation of exceptional food

Broad knowledge of cooking terminology, techniques and ingredients
