Senior site manager

The Company : This is a privately owned medium-sized main contractor that has a strong track record of delivering multiple projects within the commercial build sector. Projects built largely vary between $10M - $30M level and are within the education, health, commercial, multi storey, refurbishments, aged care and government sectors. They use modern construction systems and reporting tools.

Role & Responsibilities

This contractor prides itself on retaining and developing all employees at every level. The contractor has several projects looking to commence that require the skills of an experienced site manager to take ownership of the jobs. Reporting to a Director you will be delivering on all tasks leading construction and sub-contractor teams in a professional and approachable manner.

You will have interactions with consultants, client PM's, and council.

Your Background

• A carpentry trade background is preferred
• At least 10+ years new build $10M - $30M commercial project experience from start to finish
• Great systems skills with ability to follow develop and update a commercial program
• Very high HSE standards is essential
• Motivated to deliver to a tight programme and manage issues as they arise offering proactive solutions
• A strong eye for detail and full understanding of buildability
• Systems savvy and able to confidently use Procore
