Mental Health professional For Kapiti Child and Adolescent Mental Health ServiceLocation : Kapiti Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (KCAMHS), Kapiti HealthCentre, Warrimoo Street, ParaparaumuContract : Permanent, Full Time (1.0 FTE)Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in theprinciples of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is dedicated to serving all NewZealanders.

You'll work collaborativelywithin a multi-disciplinary team, contributing your expertise to ensureholistic and culturally responsive care.Your role will also involve consultationand liaison with external services and agencies, helping to build strong,supportive networks around our young people.

As part of our commitment tocontinuous improvement, you'll contribute to both clinical and servicedevelopment initiatives, bringing your insights and ideas to shape the futureof our service.Education and information-sharing arealso key elements of this position - you - ll provide guidance and support toexternal agencies, as well as empowering tamariki, rangatahi and their whanauwith the knowledge they need to navigate their mental health journey.About the Team / Service / LocationJoin our small, supportive Child and Adolescent Mental HealthService team based in sunny Kapiti, where we pride ourselves on working closelywith NGOs, schools, and the wider community to make a real difference fortamariki and rangatahi.

Kapiti CAMHS utilises the choice and PartnershipApproach (CAPA) to provide efficient accessible services for tamariki, Rangaiahand their whanauAbout youRelevantqualification in mental health, nursing, social work or occupational therapy,with current professional registration in New Zealand.A good sense of humour and a team spirit aredefinite advantages in this rewarding role.Experience working with children, adolescents, and their whanau in amental health setting.Strongassessment, risk management, and therapeutic intervention skills.Abilityto work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and alongsidecommunity partners.Excellentcommunication skills, written and verbal.
