We're seeking a skilled, relationship-driven classroom teacher who puts akonga at the centre, thrives in a collaborative team, and embraces the unique opportunities of the intermediate years.About the roleTeach a Y7–8 class with integrated curriculum, strong literacy / numeracy practice, and rich inquiry learning.Design engaging programmes aligned with The New Zealand Curriculum and our localised curriculumUse effective assessment for learning to track progress and accelerate achievement.Build strong partnerships with whanau and the wider community.What we valueA commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally sustaining pedagogy.Inclusive practice that supports diverse learners, including those with additional needs and strengths.Positive behaviour approaches (PB4L / restorative) and trauma-informed practice.Digital fluency and purposeful use of technology for learning.A team player who is reflective, open to feedback, and eager to grow.What you'll bringNZ teaching qualification and current Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand practising certificate.

Beginning teachers may also apply.Proven success teaching at upper primary / intermediate level (or readiness to excel there).
