We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to build out our M&A deal sourcing team in New Zealand. This role is all about building authentic relationships with founders, owners, and advisors, spotting opportunities, nurturing connections, and helping us expand our global portfolio.

What You’ll Do :

• Build and nurture a network of CEOs, founders, investors, bankers, and advisors.
• Qualify new opportunities and keep Salesforce up-to-date with accurate data and intel.
• Run targeted outreach campaigns via LinkedIn, email, phone, conferences, and face-to-face meetings.
• Share Vela APX’s acquisition criteria and value proposition with decision makers.
• Re-engage warm leads and revive stale ones through thoughtful follow-up.
• Support your team and associates in pipeline growth and tracking.
