OverviewApplications Analyst6 Month Contract - Bell Block basedOur client is a well-established Energy company in New Zealand.

They are now after an Applications Analyst to support their service delivery team in their New Plymouth branch where you'll play a key role in supporting, monitoring, and maintaining business critical applications.

As the 2nd level technical expert, you'll troubleshoot issues, minimise incidents, and ensure smooth deployment of system changes.This is a contracted role with Immediate availability.Role ResponsibilitiesProvide responsive application support and resolve incidents within SLAs.Analyse, test, and maintain applications while contributing to upgrades and enhancements.Collaborate with 3rd level support and external vendors to drive resolutionsBuild strong working relationships across teams and deliver excellent customer service.Document processes, share knowledge, and support continuous improvement.To be successful in this role, you will need to haveTertiary qualification in computer science / technology or equivalent3+ Years IT experience in application support and maintenanceStrong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of Microsoft systemsExperience with ITIL practices and process documentationEffective verbal and written communication skillsAnalytically mindedProactive team player with great initiativeThis is an exciting opportunity to add real value, support initiatives, and grow your expertise in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
