About the Role

As a Casual Programme Assistant you will :

  • Supervise and assist children in programme activities.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, hygienic and safe environment for all children, staff, parents and visitors.

Report any concerns regarding a child or behaviour issues to the Programme Manager.

Hours of Work

Successful candidates will work around the sites listed below. Flexibility and ease of travel between locations are essential, so having access to a reliable vehicle is required.

Casual Programme Assistants are scheduled on a need‑based basis, only on Monday to Friday, between the before‑ and after‑school schedules. The majority of your shift will be during the after‑school period.

  • After‑school schedule : 2 : 30 pm – 6 : 00 pm
  • Before‑school schedule : 7 : 00 am – 8 : 30 am (only if required)
  • Holiday programmes hours may be available
  • Location of Work

    You will be rostered across various sites within the Rodney and North Shore region. This flexibility allows you to work more hours.

  • Qualifications

    We’re looking for someone who :

  • Has a valid visa to work in New Zealand without restrictions.
  • Can commute to the sites listed above.
  • Has a keen interest in working with children in similar industries.
  • Has previous experience working with children (babysitting, volunteering, etc.).
