Caregiver - Full Time

Overview

Caregiver - Full Time role at Ryman Healthcare.

Ryman Healthcare has multiple Caregiver positions available at Bob Owens Retirement Village in Bethlehem, Tauranga.

You will provide compassionate support and care to residents as part of a supportive and diverse team.

Responsibilities

Performing care and personal needs assistance as detailed in the care plan and under the direction of a Registered Nurse

Observing and reporting immediately to the Registered Nurse or senior any change in a resident's status or behaviour

Ensuring the safety, privacy, and comfort of residents at all times

Demonstrating care for others by understanding their needs and providing help and support

Documenting care provided to residents objectively and in a timely manner

Qualifications

A Level 3 Health and Wellbeing certificate or equivalent and 3 years relevant experience OR

A Level 4 Health and Wellbeing certificate or equivalent

Naturally, you will have empathy for the elderly and be dedicated to making our village a wonderful place to live and work.

You will work a minimum of 30 hours per week, which may include a weekend day.

The wage is $27.88 - $31.16 per hour depending on experience.
