About the role

In this key role, you'll support the Care Home Manager and Clinical Services Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading care teams, and ensuring high standards across the home. You'll contribute to staff management, monitor performance indicators, and maintain strong relationships with residents and families. This role suits a proactive leader with strong organisational and people management skills, able to balance team support with operational demands.

What you have to do

• Provides leadership and direction to staff
• Supports Care Home Manager in day-to-day facility operations
• Oversees care quality, clinical records, and compliance standards
• Manages clinical team HR functions and resource allocation
• Assumes Care Home Manager responsibilities in their absence
• Drives continuous improvement through quality and risk management
• Ensures a safe environment for residents and staff

Skills and Experience

• Experience in aged care industry
• Proven leadership with focus on training and development
• Quick to learn new computer systems
• Skilled in fostering positive team culture
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commercial awareness and financial management
