Role :

We are proud and excited to partner with one of New Zealand's leading diesel generator providers to find a powerhouse Sales & Hire Manager to join their team in 2026.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with key clients, and utilising referrals and networking opportunities to pick up new ones. You'll be supported by the Branch Manager, the General Manager and the outgoing Sales Manager, all of whom are hardworking, genuine people who want to see you succeed.

Your clients will include the major electricity networks, farms, ports, and councils - most of the time you'll be based at the yard in north-west Christchurch, however your coverage will stretch from Ashburton to the top of the South, and travel to see these customers will be required. Most of the travel will be Christchurch regional day trips, but you could expect to stay away a couple of nights each month.

We're looking for a down-to earth, driven Sales Manager who shows genuine care for their clients. Someone who will take the time to meet face to face, respond to calls or emails efficiently, and in a pinch, jump in the ute and deliver the generator to site too!
