Equipment Operator - Warehouse

About the RoleEquipment Operator - Warehouse at Danone is a permanent full-time role based in Balclutha, New Zealand.

The position operates on a 12-hour rotating shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off) with a minimum of 42 guaranteed hours per week.

You will be responsible for the receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials, QA samples, and finished goods, enabling the timely delivery of high-quality products.

You will also operate and optimise equipment used to convert raw milk into infant formula powder, ensuring output meets Danone's specifications.Reporting to the Line Shift Lead - Dryer, you will support the company's goals while ensuring maximum efficiency, compliance, and safety.

About YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring : Forklift Operation Certification.Proven experience operating industrial equipment in a food manufacturing or dairy processing environment.Strong understanding of process control principles and ability to interpret run sheets.Experience in stock management and record keeping.Knowledge of permit-to-work systems and safe coordination of maintenance activities.Commitment to food safety regulations and maintaining hygiene standards.Good communication and interpersonal skills; a true team player.Computer literacy (RF and SAP experience advantageous).
