Four of the individuals require day-to-day support, while one requires partial support.We are currently seeking compassionate and experienced Support Worker to join our team in a wake-over support capacity.
This is a single-staffed service, and prior caregiving or equivalent experience is essential.Wake-over shifts require staff to remain awake and actively engaged throughout the night, ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of the people we support.
While you'll be working independently during your shift, strong communication skills are vital for providing a thorough verbal handover to the morning staff and for maintaining clear, comprehensive notes.Key responsibilities include : Assisting with personal care and morning routinesOffering emotional support and companionshipMonitoring wellbeing and reporting any concernsPerforming light household duties such as cleaning and meal preparationAssisting with medication managementProviding hourly turnsMo koe | About YouYou'll be energetic, team focused, empathetic, and confident in working alongside people with diverse needs.
You'll have a strong ability to read situations, apply boundaries, problem-solve, and offer space when needed.
