An immediate contract opening for a Senior UI Designer is available to shape a major consumer-facing digital platform.

Role Details

Position : Senior UI Designer

Core Focus : Designing visually stunning, functional, and accessible user interfaces for web and mobile applications.

Industry Expertise : Essential experience in high-traffic e-commerce, retail, or large-scale digital environments.

Technical Stack : Deep proficiency in Figma (or similar like Sketch / XD), strong knowledge of Design Systems, and a solid understanding of front-end development constraints (HTML / CSS).

Key Responsibilities

Translate wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes into high-fidelity UI designs.

Contribute to and maintain a scalable, component-based Design System.

Collaborate with UX Designers, Product Managers, and Front-End Engineers to ensure design quality and technical feasibility.

Present and articulate design rationale clearly to product teams and senior stakeholders.

What's On Offer

Contract Duration : Initial 6-month contract with strong potential for extension.

Remuneration : Competitive contract rates.

Location : Auckland, NZ – Hybrid role (2-3 days in office, remainder WFH).

Start Date : Full-time (40 hours / week), ASAP.
