Sacred Heart Cathedral School invites applications for the role of director of religious studies (DRS).

This Special Character leadership position combines classroom teaching with responsibility for religious education and our Catholic identity.

A willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the school's Special Character is a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow the Religious Education programme and Special Character initiatives.

Mentor and support teachers in their professional and spiritual growth.

Connect faith with contemporary learning to create rich experiences.

Has a willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the school's Special Character.

Shows excellent organisational and communication skills.

Has experience as a DRS
