This position will commence at the beginning of Term 1,
We seek a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher of Commerce to join our Social Science Learning Area.
We invite applications for a dynamic and student-centred teacher of Economics and / or Business and / or Accounting who is passionate about delivering high-quality education and nurturing a love for the application of Commerce-related principles in our students.
Responsibilities
Teach Economics, Business, or Accounting up to NCEA Level 3.
Create engaging, student-centred lessons and resources.
Foster a love for the application of Commerce-related principles.
Contribute to an innovative and collaborative educational environment.
Participate in the extensive co-curricular programme of the college.
Qualifications
Dynamic and enthusiastic teacher of commerce subjects.
Experience teaching at least one of Economics, Business or Accounting up to NCEA Level 3.
Possibility of scholarship is a plus.
Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive teaching.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement (STCA).
The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,678 to $99,216, depending on qualifications and experience.
Hours of work are approximately 40 per week.
