Aorere College is a secondary kura located in the Papatoetoe / Mangere areas with a roll of over 1,700 akonga from years 9-13. We offer students a holistic approach to health care by providing a range of services.
Our nursing team consists of four registered nurses. We care for students and occasionally, staff members. We provide first aid treatment, attend to emergency and medical cases, administer certain antibiotics / reproductive medicines under standing orders and conduct year 9 health assessments. We engage in numerous health promotion initiatives and work collaboratively with the Health and Safety, Pastoral Care, and Health and Wellness Committees.
We are seeking an experienced registered nurse who will be a great addition to our diverse Nursing Team. We offer a permanent part-time position of 5-8 hours per week, from 9 : 00am to 3 : 00pm, during term time (44 weeks total, pro rata). The days and hours can be negotiated.
